Roger Federer beat Bernard Tomic
Roger Federer continued with victories at the Australian Open, where as the second holder qualified for the next round after beating Bernard Tomic, with 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-1.
Great to hold a country's contestant in the first part of the match, and after losing the first set in the second game of a great hold of the tie-breaker. But just when it mattered most, the Swiss played at the top level, and when he led 2-0 in sets and 3-0 in the third, it became clear to him that Tomic will present a major obstacle.
