Police barred entry umbrella to the stadium
African Nations Cup fans between South Africa and Cape and Angola and Morocco, for security reasons, will not be allowed to bring umbrellas into the stadium, despite pledges by meteorologists to heavy rain fall.
Police in Johannesburg, where the matches will be played on fears that the umbrellas with metal tips that could potentially be a "weapon" in the event of fan riots.
"We encourage fans to wear raincoats because bringing umbrellas will not be permitted. They can be used to commit a crime, "said police spokesman Lungelo Dlamini.
