Mourinho: Torres has a future at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that striker Fernando Torres has a future at the club.
This is diametrically opposite position from the one Mourinho made two days ago , when, after the defeat of Paris Saint-Germain ( 1-3) in the first leg of the Champions League četvtrtfinala said that Chelsea are missing the real attackers .
" Yes , Torres has a future here , but only if he wants to . Has a contract with the club , it is a great professional who brings a lot of good teams. Course , we want to score more goals . Had a good time on and in Chelsea , but quite a long game for the system hot and cold , "said Mourinho at a press conference in London .
In addition to Torres in attack Chelsea play more Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o . So far the season Spaniard in 33 matches scoring nine goals .
"I know he's trying , it's the kind of players that I deeply respect ," he added.
Mourinho added that to Chelsea in the summer transfer window could cause at least one of the attackers of up to 40 million pounds , while not selling anybody.
"We sell the best soccer player . Constantly repeat that Chelsea is in the process of making the team. Part of that evolution is bringing in a few players , but not the sale of 10 of them and buying the same number of players ," concluded Mourinho .
