Rafael Nadal withdrew from the tournament in Buenos Aires
The first player in the world Rafael Nadal announced that he withdrew from the tournament in Buenos Aires due to stomach virus, which has made it difficult for his recovery from a back injury.
"Stomach virus prevent me to train today, so my complete schedule shifted. Due to this and because the tournament starts on Monday, I decided to retire," said Nadal.
Spanish tennis player did not specify whether it will play in the upcoming tournament. Following the ATP schedule are Rio de Janeiro, Indian Wells and Miami.
Nadal was injured during the Australian Open, and has since been recovering.
