Van Marvijk new coach of Hamburg
Former Netherlands coach Bert van Marvijk appointed as the new coach of German football Premiership club Hamburg.
Van Marvijk on the bench replaced the former European champions Thorsten Fink who was fired after the defeat of Borussia Dortmund (6:2).
Dutch expert with Hamburg signed a contract for two years, and the financial details were not disclosed.
"Hamburg is a beautiful city, HSV is a great club with a tradition and a fantastic stadium," said Van Marvijk Dutch media.
He was already working in the Bundesliga since since 2004. the 2006th he led Borussia Dortmund.
His new team, Hamburg after six rounds takes 16 place in the Bundesliga table where the 18 competing teams.
