Serena took the throne as the oldest women's tennis players in the top

Serena Williams from Monday officially took over first place in the rankings of Victoria Azarenka, although it lost the final of the tournament in Doha. Williams, after fighting three-set match, succumbed in the Belorussian, Azarenka but it did not help to save the throne because American already qualified for the semifinals secured enough points to become the number one. After almost two years, Serena has found itself at the top, and as she did so as a 31-year-old, who broke the record held by then 30-year-old Chris Evert, so far the oldest player who managed to be first in the rankings as can still in use.
