Liverpool have won the League Cup
Liverpool's players have won the English League Cup, as in the final at Wembley Stadium in London, Cardiff won after penalty kicks better. The result after 120 minutes was 2-2, and Liverpool won 3-2 on penalties. The decisive penalty kick for Cardiff in the fifth series is Anthony Gerrard missed.
