Wimbledon prize money increased by 40 percent
The organizers of the Grand Slam at Wimbledon announced an increase in the prize fund by 40 percent, which means that this year's total fund amount to 34.4 million.
This is an increase over last year by 9.9 million. However, organizers have revealed plans to build a retractable roof over the terrain and the number one, in addition to the existing center court.
